The Platform

Ship a complete smart product without writing a single line of code.

The Justworx OS is No-Code for Smart Product Development. End-to-End — Hardware, Backend, Security, Frontend, no engineers, no development sprints, no firmware update cycles.

Inspired by No-Code platforms like Shopify, we set out to build an enabling platform that makes it possible for anyone, technical or not, to build a Smart Technology Company.

All the tools, none of the cost, zero complexity.

If you can’t build it here, it can’t be done.

The No-Code OS

Works like Shopify, but for Hardware.

Just as Shopify let anyone build a storefront without code, the Justworx OS lets anyone build a smart, connected hardware product without writing firmware. It runs on top of the module's base OS and exposes all hardware IO, communications, logic and storage through one browser-based interface.

The OS is hardware-agnostic — implemented first on ESP32 and ARM Cortex silicon, architected to support any embedded platform.

Five layers. One browser.

Everything the device does is defined in software that lives above the firmware — so it can change at any time.

IO Configuration Layer

Every physical interface on the module is configured in a browser — no reflashing, no engineer. Push to one device or an entire fleet, remotely, any time.

  • Digital I/O
  • Analog I/O
  • UART
  • SPI
  • I²C

Onboard Database

Each device carries a database of user-defined fields. Rules write readings to fields; the cloud reads the fields — cleanly decoupling device logic from data retrieval.

  • User-defined fields
  • Written by rules
  • Read on demand
  • Structured interface

On-Board Rules Engine

Define what the IO does and when, right on the device. Sequential, stackable rule chains that reference and trigger each other — composed into complex conditional behaviour, with no code.

  • Unlimited rules
  • Jump forward / backward
  • Reference other rules
  • Multi-condition logic

Cloud Rules Engine

Define cloud actions and interactions based on the state of the hardware’s digital twin. Interface to external systems via API or plugin.

  • Digital-twin driven
  • Cloud actions
  • External APIs
  • Plugins

Define a Micro-App

Don’t want to build your own app with our tools? Run it as a Micro-App inside the Justworx apps — everywhere they’re already deployed.

  • Add buttons & controls
  • Configure look & feel
  • Upload logos & assets
  • Configure action & state behaviour

Rules Engine

If you can describe it, you can build it.

Rules execute in a defined chain — stacked, cross-referencing, and able to jump forward or backward — to produce sophisticated behaviour without a line of code.

Averaged sensor sampling

“Upload the average of the readings from the temperature sensors over 1 minute. Sample once per second.”

SAMPLE temperature_sensor EVERY 1s
AVERAGE samples OVER 60s
TRANSMIT average EVERY 60s

Reduce data usage while keeping accuracy

Pin-triggered timed output

“When input A goes high, switch output B on — then turn it off automatically 30 seconds later.”

MONITOR pin_A
WHEN pin_A HIGH → SET pin_B HIGH
AFTER 30s → SET pin_B LOW

One trigger, timed response, auto-reset

Thermostat control (geyser / boiler)

“Keep the water hot, but not too hot — switch the heating element on below 55°C, and off again once it rises above 65°C.”

MONITOR temp_sensor
WHEN temp < 55°C → SET heating_element ON
WHEN temp > 65°C → SET heating_element OFF

Monitor one pin, control another

Field expandability

Ship today. Expand for years — without a firmware update.

Because all configuration lives in the OS layer, an OEM can ship a product with open ports and add functionality at any point in its life. That matters:

  • Firmware updates carry real risk of failure in the field
  • OTA firmware updates consume significant data
  • Justworx OS updates are lightweight config changes — not firmware flashes
  • A product shipped today can support peripherals not yet invented

Connected Platforms

Plays well with others.

Your devices, in whatever you already build with — smart-home platforms, AI assistants, no-code tools, native app frameworks, and the raw API underneath.

  • Home Assistant
  • Amazon Alexa
  • Google Home
  • Claude
  • Cursor
  • Zapier
  • n8n
  • Bubble
  • Windsurf
  • Flutter
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
