These terms cover your use of justworx.com, Jax, and buying from the Justworx Store at store.justworx.com. They are an agreement between you and Justworx LLC, 1115 Broadway, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10010, USA. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
The Justworx platform (Studio, Connect, the Justworx Air Network and the Justworx Home app) is provided under its own agreements.
1. Using the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes. Don't try to break, overload or misuse it, or Jax, or use automated tools to copy its content.
2. Jax
Jax is an AI assistant. Its answers are for general guidance and can be wrong or incomplete. Recommendations about hardware, pricing or suitability are not a quote or a promise. Prices and terms in your order or a written quote from us are what count. Don't rely on Jax for anything safety-critical, and don't share sensitive personal information with it.
3. Store accounts
An account is optional; you can always check out as a guest. If you create one, keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission. You can delete your account at any time.
4. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when your payment succeeds and we confirm the order by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price was shown in error. If we do, we'll refund you in full.
5. Prices and quantity pricing
- Prices are shown in the currency you choose and charged in that currency.
- Many products have quantity pricing: the unit price depends on how many you buy, and every unit in the order is charged at the price for that quantity. For example, 12 units in a 10 to 49 band at £18 cost £216.
- The cart shows whether tax is included, added at checkout or not charged. Delivery is shown before you pay.
- Orders shipped across borders may carry import duties or taxes in the destination country. These are payable by you unless we say otherwise.
6. Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order. We don't see or store your card details.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the address you give at checkout, in the countries listed in the store. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
8. Cancellations and returns
If you buy as a consumer in the UK or EU, you can cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Tell us at legal@justworx.com, then return the goods unused within 14 days of telling us. We'll refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of getting the goods back. You pay the return postage unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
If you buy for a business, you can return unused goods in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery. You pay the return postage.
Faulty goods. If something arrives faulty or damaged, tell us within 30 days and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
9. Warranty
Our hardware is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from delivery, when used as described in its documentation. This doesn't cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorised modification or normal wear. If you're a consumer, this is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
10. Building our modules into your products
Communication modules and base boards are components. If you build them into a product of your own, you are responsible for that product's design, safety and regulatory approvals in the markets where you sell it, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
11. Our content
The site, its text, images, designs and the Justworx and Jax names and marks belong to Justworx or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or evaluation use, but not reuse them commercially without our permission.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise:
- We aren't liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for lost profits, revenue or data where you buy for a business.
- For business buyers, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
- If you're a consumer, you keep all your legal rights; nothing here takes them away.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, and disputes go to the state and federal courts in New York County, New York. If you're a consumer, you can also rely on the mandatory laws of the country you live in and bring a claim in your local courts.
